This enables the treatment to be continued between sessions and improves its effectiveness. For any procedure that may result in post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, it is also advisable to use this product between sessions to reduce the risk.

Your Frequently Ask Questions

Can Tranexamic Acid be combined with Hydroquinone?

Exactly! Studies also show that the combination of these two products has a real synergistic effect, enhancing each other’s efficacy. What’s more, using tranexamic acid after hydroquinone treatment improves treatment tolerance, reducing potential side effects such as irritation and redness (from hydroquinone). This combination not only delivers better depigmentation results, but also optimizes patient safety and comfort throughout treatment.

How can I avoid the rebound effect after hyperpigmentation treatment?

After each treatment you administer to treat hyperpigmentation, we recommend that you prescribe or sell your patient TXA Anti-Spot Concentrate. This product uses the same formula as TXA NIA 3.10 Sterile Transepidermal Concentrate, but in a non-sterile version with a texture suitable for topical application at home. Studies clearly show that applying this formula after any hyperpigmentation treatment significantly reduces the risk of rebound effect.

Is topical use immediately after a laser session safe?

It’s perfectly possible to apply our product just after a laser session, when the skin is still inflamed, for several reasons: Formula sterility:

The product is sterile, which considerably reduces the risk of infection. After laser treatment, the skin is more vulnerable to infection due to its compromised surface. A sterile product ensures that no pathogens are introduced, enabling safe application to open wounds or recently treated areas, promoting clean, uncomplicated healing.

Anti-inflammatory properties of tranexamic acid: Tranexamic acid exhibits anti-inflammatory properties by acting on the vascular and pigment pathways, helping to reduce inflammation and redness immediately after laser treatment. Unlike other depigmenting agents, which often target only the pigment pathway (tyrosinase), it also helps reduce the risk of HPI.

Niacinamide properties: Niacinamide acts effectively as a potent inhibitor of pro-inflammatory cytokines, helping to reduce inflammation. It also has significant depigmenting properties thanks to its inhibitory action on tyrosinase. This dual action enables significant synergies with TXA, reinforcing both the treatment of the pigmentary pathway and the anti-inflammatory effect on the vascular/plasminogenic pathway.

Post-laser application recommendations: We recommend applying our product topically (without microneedling) just after a laser session (or any other procedure at risk of IPH: laser, LED, injection, peel…). The combination of 3% TXA and 10% NIA amplifies results on spot treatment (if the laser is intended to treat spots) and limits the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

Is it possible to use this product for microneedling after a HIFU session?

Yes, you can combine these 2 procedures. When our product is applied by microneedling, it only reaches the epidermis and superficial dermis (between 0.7 mm and 1.5 mm deep), without penetrating the deep dermis. This means that our TXA will not react with the area treated by HIFU, which is much deeper.

Is microneedling suitable for treating melasma on sensitive skin?

We carried out a clinical study with 4 microneedling sessions over a 49-day period on a panel of 100% sensitive skin with melasma and lentigos. The results showed very good tolerance in 100% of subjects. Our clinical study also demonstrated the efficacy of the procedure, with results showing a reduction in spot size of up to 73.9% after 49 days.

How should the mask be stored before use?

The biocellulose mask should be stored in its original packaging, away from heat and direct light. We recommend storing at room temperature, ideally between 15 and 25°C. For an even more soothing effect, you can place it in the refrigerator.
